It was established in 1954 by twelve European countries on the Franco\u2013Swiss border. The numerous awards received by scientists and researchers working at this prestigious international scientific center\u2014including six Nobel Prizes\u2014demonstrate CERN\u2019s significance in global scientific exchange.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM), as Iran\u2019s representative, began its collaboration with CERN in 2000 through the implementation of a research project. In order to expand cooperation with CERN, the Center\u2014acting as the secretariat\u2014prepared, in 2019, a guideline for supporting universities and research institutes with the potential to collaborate with CERN.
